Integrated Support Solutions, Inc. (ISSI) was developed in 1996 by a husband and wife partnership out of their home. Since its inception, ISSI has experienced a consistent and steady growth pattern stemming from our sound management practices, outstanding customer service, quality food production, recruitment and retention of high quality team members.
Our Customers First philosophy, backed by one of the industrys best customer service and staff training programs, has enabled us to carry out our mission of Personalizing Hospitality Solutions One Client at a Time. One of our advantages is that we are a mid-sized company; unlike small companies that may lack the experience and qualifications or large companies that cannot provide the individualized attention that we give each and every one of our clients.
ISSI clients range from Food Services and Nutrition to Housekeeping -Environmental Services (EVS) - Janitorial as well as Facilities and Plant Operations and Grounds Maintenance/Landscaping.
Our rapidly growing company is built on a foundation that features our four cornerstones of quality: Integrity, Performance, Teamwork, and Customer Satisfaction.
OUR APPROACH:
ISSI has developed relationships with our clients which have allowed us to become intimately involved with their respective short and long term goals of success. ISSI focuses on our commitments. We say what do, and do what we say. This is the foundation for any service we provide.
Comprehensive, clear and regular communication has been our most effective means of nurturing our relationships with our clients. ISSI believes that communication is instrumental in developing and maintaining a higher level of understanding on both sides and minimizes the possibility of misunderstandings. A good client relationship based on mutual understanding, trust and supported by proper documentation (regular audits, patient satisfaction surveys, daily checklists, logs, etc.) is crucial to ensure our ability to meet, with the intent to exceed, the expectations of our clients.
The partnership that we have developed with our clients consists primarily of the resources that we provide; focusing on supply and labor management, improving productivity, reducing cost, increasing customer satisfaction and managing efficiencies. ISSI embraces the understanding that an essential role of our partnership with all of our clients is to identify and manage risks. Successful communication of these risks, and how to best mitigate them, is a vital part of building a winning partnership.
The contribution of supply management at ISSI is recognized as a core competency and our purchasing program is one of our many strengths. We utilize local vendors and have successfully negotiated contracts, significantly improving our buying power. Success in purchasing and distribution is part of ISSIs corporate competitive strategy, impacting our operations and fiscal responsibility. We understand how purchasing can yield better business performance through greater integration with other functions, closer partnerships with suppliers, and greater involvement in team decision- making.
STAFFING:
ISSI has extensive experience in effective labor management and considers this another core competency. We believe that the first important factor when it comes to successful labor management is good communication. ISSI encourages our workforce to contribute ideas and we treat our employees suggestions seriously; this not only makes our staff members feel valued, but it also provides a lot of useful ideas that the company can, and has benefited from. Efficient yet effective staffing techniques are initiated at each of our accounts, allowing ISSI to achieve client-driven results in a manner which makes the most appropriate use of resources.
We believe it is important that our staff know exactly what is expected from them, and that these expectations aren't constantly changing. Of course there will always be modifications along the way; therefore, ISSI seeks to manage changes as effectively as possible and in order to get the most from our workers we always have a clear idea about what we want from them; if they are unsure then this can lead to high degrees of stress and burnout. This is another area of labor management where good communication is vital.
ISSI appreciates that one of the most important labor management skills is being able to create an environment where our workers can use their skills to the fullest. In order to create this environment, we appreciate that it is necessary for our employee to feel that their contribution is valued and that they are respected. If staff fail to be recognized for their extra effort they are unlikely to continue the same commitment to excellence for long.
QUALITY CONTROL:
Our unique system of checks and balances provides for a quality control program that will demonstrate our compliance with contracts and any regulatory requirements specified by our clients through the use of measuring tools, such as audits and surveys, consistently calculating and evaluating our strides to exceed our clients expectations. ISSI will seek to be proactive in quickly identifying deficiencies and initiate swift and corrective actions. Subsequent to the detection of problems, ISSI has put several monitoring procedures in place to prevent problems from arising and to enable any issues that do take place to be corrected.
